I can't get them out of my mind...I met this little girl at a BBQ on Memorial Day and I couldn't help but fall in love with her. She was adopted from an orphanage in China where she was taken out of her crib for only two hours a day. She has been in the states for a few months now with a wonderful, loving family. I couldn't help but look at her and think how blessed she is to be taken out of the circumstances she was in. I watched her eat a snow cone and color and couldn't help but cry. I had to leave the room a few times because my heart was spilling over.

sweet paige she is darling - you make me cry too. i love your big huge heart. and i love the pics too.
paige - the photos are beautiful. that girl is darling and you captured her perfectly. you make me want to have a baby just so you can take beautiful picture of shim!
That was so beautiful to post her story; it just doesn't make sense how this world treats many of its children, but the compensation seems to lie in people like you who care more than their share. You have quite a heart in you - always have.
You are an amazing photographer. Yes, the baby is beautiful, but you have a way of making her even more beautiful with your photography skills.
You've got me misty over here Paige!
love the pics, my niece has the same story. She was picked up almost 2 years ago from an orphanage in China. When they got her she was one & couldn't even roll over, now she is a happy & regular 3 year old. It is amazing what a loving family can do.
She is gorgeous - What a lucky girl. I cry my eyes out every time I see an episode of A Baby Story - the adoption version. Makes me wanna fly over to China and pick up 10 little ones (they're shooting them out of t-shirt guns over there, you know?)
Yea I'm crying. xoxx
