The price of a mom: $138,095

There was an article posted on MSN that put a price tag on stay at home mothers, based on what they do during an average week. That is a pretty good salary. I would be so happy to be making that kind of money. Now who is going to fund the stay at home mothers salary? Cuz someone totally should. Just wanted to give you stay at home mom's some credit. I'm just sayin...

The job descriptions that Salary.com used to determine a mom's salary includes 10 jobs that moms do on an average day: housekeeper, day care center teacher, cook, computer operator, laundry machine operator, janitor, facilities manager, van driver, CEO and psychologist.

"Mom works multiple jobs and rarely gets a break from the action, working an average of 52 hours of overtime," said Bill Coleman, senior vice president at Salary.com, in a statement.
According to the Salary.com survey, stay-at-home moms work a 92-hour week, with more than half the workweek spent in overtime.

Thanks Paige...It's nice to sometimes be recognized. But I must say, that salary needs to be a little higher. This is craziness!

P, that was such a sweet post. It's amazing the lengths you can go to, the nights of sleep you don't mind sacrificing, the cute outfits you don't mind ruining, the movies you don't mind missing, the cool job title you don't mind not having - because your little one's make you happier than anything else ever could, and I think you understand because of how much you love your little nieces and nephews. I love you, and I can't wait to meet your babies!!
