The Secret...

If you've read The Secret, then you are probably familiar with the power of positive thinking. My family uses it often. You are supposed to put out positive thoughts into the universe and then those things will come back to you. If we are looking for a parking spot, you will most likely hear one of my sisters say..."Use the secret". The idea behind it is to visualize what it would feel like and look like to get what you want. I really want a pair of shoes that are discontinued and everytime I walk through the aisles of Last Chance, I imagine finding them and how excited I would be to slip them onto my feet. I still haven't found them. But I try. And I visualize, and I practice using the secret. I figure it can't hurt. Recently I signed up to receive a special email from the Universe each day at tut.com. I love it. I look forward to getting them everyday. Here were my messages from Monday and Tuesday. They make me happy...

The cards of life are stacked in your favor, paige. Overall, you're far more likely to succeed than fail, and to thrive than dive. Don't let the inevitable setbacks get you down. After all, having a boyfriend is not asking for much!
