My week at school...So far.

These are some things that have happened in the last couple of days at work.

1. I got stung by a bee and I forgot how bad bee stings hurt.
2. One of my students carried around a gallon of water, trying to flush the drugs out of his system. The drug test came back positive and I watched him get handcuffed and taken away to jail.
3. Another student went to court and never returned to school. She was arrested at court and went to jail. It might have been because she AWOLed to her P.O.'s office. Duh...
4. I waved my hair and when I got to school a student told me I looked like Malibu Barbie...I had to laugh. I hardly look like a barbie and that wasn't exactly the look I was going for.

5. Another student called the principal a "fat white honky b*tch" because she called her probation officer when she ditched school. I laughed because I was the "fat white honky b*tch that called. I just let her be mad at the principal.
6. My aide asked me what it means to "Be Trippin" cuz one of the students told her she was trippin. I told her what it meant and asked her to try and use it in a sentence later that day. Bless her little sheltered Iowa heart.
7. We suspended a student for smoking in the bathroom. How dumb can you be? He did it in the bathroom right in front of the principals office and when he opened the door smoke rushed out.

Thats all I can think of right now. Back to work tomorrow at the crazy place I call work.
