In 5th grade I heard that Star Search was coming
Salt Lake City for auditions. Needless to say I was
so excited. This was finally my chance. So my friend
Angie and I made up a sweet dance to the Electric
Slide song. I was so embarrased, that I wouldn't let
my mom come into the audition room to watch. I'm
still waiting to hear back from them.

#2. I've always wanted to be a detective
but when I told my mom thats what I wanted to be
she fell on the floor laughing. So I decided I would
just do it in my spare time. So up until a few years
ago, I was still putting on my black hoodie and hiding
in the bushes and spying on my friends.
#3. I still have dreams about my sixth grade boyfriend

There was a guy who moved into my neighborhood
that had crazy hair for 6th grade. He had a leapord
print pattern all over his head. I instantly loved him.
Well we held hands for the first time at Lagoon on
the Terror Ride. I must have pretended I was scared.
Anyway...We kissed for a couple years and then grew
apart. But I still have dreams about him. The same
dream I had when he first came into my life. He would
pull up into my driveway in a sweet red convertible
everytime and we would go on a really romantic date.
the memory for several people. I remember dumb stuff
like my 6th grade boyfriends telephone number. His line
and his parents line. I also remember most of my cheer
leading dances and cheers. Sometimes I wish I could forget
this kind of stuff.

Back in the day I made up some of my best material
laying in my bed at night. I would end up staying up
for hours thinking about our next sweet moves. I
still make stuff up at night if I can't sleep.

I knew all those things about you, but I had forgotten about all of them - except for the 6th grade boyfriend stuff - How could I forget how mad I was when you would talk on the phone all night long and I would have to get up for school the next morning. I remember when you told JC and I you wanted to be a detective - - sorry, I remember us laughing our heads off too. Paige Liljenquist, P.I. I like the sound of it. I also remember thinking you were going to be so famous after the Star Search audition - so, even if I thought being a detective was Hill AFB, I did have faith in your dancing skills - keep holding out, maybe they're still deciding.
Hill AFB??? Did you know the neighbors used to take me to Hill to shop and eat hot dogs when I was little? Totally Randy. Mom used to let our neighbor take me to college with her when I was 3. I bet I hated it. Totally random but reminded me of Hill AFB.
Claire and I totally wanted to be P.I.'s too!!! We loved Days of our Lives growing up and wanted to be like Bo and Hope Brady. There are too many great stories to tell but we would drive by our "boyfriends" houses at like midnight. I don't know some might call that stalking but we thought we were super sly. We even came up for a name of our agency Cannon P.I. (get it Claire and Shannan equals Cannon which is also a camera used while doing investigations) gosh we were clever!!!
Shabby..I love that story..I used to have a golf ball hunting club called the explorers. Thats kind of like cannon. I spied on a date that Kathy and Jake went on...Jody's jake. It was super fun. Jody was with me..And then she married him. How ironic. Tell me your blog address. I can't wait...
Paige, I'm still laughing...
I didn't know ANY of those things! I can totally see the detective stuff, and the cheerleading stuff...hello I've seen the way you watch Bring It On.
This is so great,, I never knew how funny you were/are. I knew you were really good at doing hair--which includes plucking eyebrows, painting nails, and knowing your designers, but you're a total crack up too.
Linds.. I'm still laughing at the Hill AFB too.
Lori..We've been missing you all weekend. Glad to have our best blogging buddy back. Linds and I were starting to think we were the only nerds that blogged on the weekends.
Paige, keep holding out for Star Search. I hear they take I while to get back to you. Good luck!
Honestly, you are so funny. But, still nothing beats your J-Lo glamour shot! I am still laughing at that one!
Paige...I LOVED this post. I feel like I know everything about you now. I'm not laughing about the detective bit though. You would be sooo good. I can totally see you spying on people in the bushes. You guys having good weather there in AZ? It's 80 here today! woohoo!
