Passing Notes...

I spent a lot of time in Junior High and High School writing and passing notes. Now that I am a teacher, I love when my kids pass notes. This means I get to confiscate the note and read it. My students know they are not allowed to pass notes to each other. I have been known to spend my prep hour taping together torn up pieces of paper that were once a juicy note...only because I am nosy. It is a weakness...I'll admit it. There is something about detective work of any kind that makes me excited. So today in class I had two girls that were driving me absolutely mad. They seriously made me reconsider choosing another career. They did whatever they could to get under my skin, and it was working. They were in trouble and not allowed to talk to each other. So they kept smirking and laughing and being super annoying. Anyway...the one passes a note to the other and I snatch it out of her hand (meanwhile lecturing her about the school rules and how she knows she can't pass notes etc. etc.) I walk back to my desk and open the note only to read...."Ms. Paige is AWESOME!" Of course they both started laughing and I was even more irritated. I could have killed them. (figuratively speaking) Anyway, I was duped.

I love that Paige! so funny that you get to be the enforcer now! Although, it stil doesn't seem like it was that long ago that we were all in that phase of life! passing notes and giggling just to be annoying!
