Who knew..

I'd still be dressing up for Spirit week at 30 years old? My school is so much fun. We only have about 150 students, so I pretty much know them all. I'm sad to say they are cutting the Junior High program due to budget cuts, meaning my position is being eliminated. I want to cry my eyes out. I am going to miss these kids so much. But I trust that better things are in store for me. Change is good. I'll keep reminding myself.

Anyway...tomorrow is Swag Day. I'm not sure what that means. The kids were making fun of us for googling "swag".  I am too old for this....

What is swag? Do you carry around bags of swag? Does this mean you are coming home?

You need to watch the Office episode about swag - "stuff we all get." Maybe that will help.

What is even funnier is that "swag" is a term from the 60's...don't let these kids think they can out smart previous generations. We are going to miss you, Miss Paige.
