My cute friend Shannon got to pick up her cute husband Brock from the airport last night!!! He has been in Iraq serving our country while Shannan has been busy with their 3 boys under 4. Bless both of their little hearts. I missed him while he was gone. I cried a little harder every time I heard the National Anthem, thinking about Brock over in Iraq. I get so choked up listening to the National Anthem at baseball games because I feel so blessed to be able to be enjoying a game while heroes like Brock keep us safe. I love being an American and feel so proud of the unselfish people that serve in the military.

How lovely. I almost teared up myself. They're a lovely couple, and I agree; those who serve our country are the best of us all.
Hoo-ray!!!! What a sweet day. Even after watching most of my friends go through this, I still can't even imagine the sacrifices and how difficult deployments must be. Way to go Ohlsons.
