Girl's Weekend 2008

SCOTTSDALE ARIZONA

Lindsey, my mom and I started off our weekend with a 3 hour tour to Last Chance. We all found treasures of some sort and when we had to meet my Grandma at the hotel, we finally tore ourselves away. We then headed to a cute little Tapas restaurant called LOLA and had one of everything on the menu. It was delish.

The next day we picked up Tiana and headed to my Grandma's favorite lunch spot in Scottsdale called Cowboy CIAO.

When we finished lunch, we headed to the mall to shop our hearts out. We couldn't help but play dress up in Nordstrom and wonder who pays $80 for a headband like these. Although I loved mine and was wishing I could just have it without shelling out eighty bones.

More dress ups and a few hours later we were off again to eat. We had to keep reminding ourselves it was normal to want to eat every 3 hours on vacation.

Laurie, Amy and Chloe arrived Friday night and our Girl's group was complete. Chloe was so excited to be able to come on our girl's trip despite only being 7 years old. She was warned ahead of time about the long hours of shopping that were involved and she wanted to come anyway. She didn't complain one time. We had to tear her and Grandma out of a few stores. Chloe told her mom that all you have to do is ask Grandma for "a present" and she will gladly get it for you...She is so funny and smart for her age. We were laughing at her all weekend at some of the funny things she said. Thank you Grammy for treating us all to a relaxing weekend together. This post is getting too long, so I will post the rest of our trip tomorrow.

I'm so glad I bought that headband, I think it was an excellent investment.

Paige,
I was wondering what I need to do to be invited on one of these, shop till you drop, pool party, dress-up filled weekends? Do I need to marry into the family? If so I was thinking you could marry baby Jay, or maybe you and I could be "life partners". What do you think?
